NSS Unit

The first ever NSS unit allocated to our college has made a very remarkable achievement of hosting a National Integration Camp with the participation of more than 200 volunteers from all over India. The fifty volunteers of our unit also contributed immensely towards the flood relief efforts. We collected relief materials worth rupees 25 thousand, prepared food for relief camps and helped in the dispatch of collected materials in the flood affected areas. We also lend our hands in the Naavyam programme – a two day reconstruction and cleaning mission jointly undertaken by the Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust, Kerala and the University of Kerala.

Physics Lab

We have a fully equipped Physics Laboratory wherein students conduct various experiments.

A smart classroom with a digital projector and excellent sound system is made available for the students to enhance their classroom experience.

Auditorium

The College is blessed with a spacious auditorium which is of 18000 sq.feet .This is built in such a way that the pillars do not obstruct the view of spectators.

Students can avail of a free bus service plying to the college from Chempakamangalam Junction.

Free Canteen and Food Service

The 24x7 Sai Naivedhyam Canteen provides free wholesome food to all the students and staff.

The college has a multi purpose sports centre.

University Exam Room

As per the University regulations, the college provides a room exclusively for exam purposes. Moreover, all the exam halls are fitted with surveillance cameras.

College Office

The college office consists of well experienced Superintend, Clerk, Lab Assistant, Office Assistant, and Sweepers.

Library

College Library is the nerve centre of all the academic activities of the college. It provides a place where teachers and students can pursue research and study unhampered by noise or any other disturbance. Its facilities and services exist solely to cater to the needs of the academic community of the college. The college library, which is a repertoire of rich knowledge resources with a collection of over 4000 books and subscription of top periodicals and journals is the key source of academic assistance to the community. The college library is located in the main building on the first floor with a total area of 2000 sq ft with a total seating capacity of 50. Library starts functioning at 9 a.m and closes at 5.00 p.m. on all working days, providing resources and materials that support the educational, professional, and personal information needs of our students, faculty and staff.

There are special sections for reading, lending and reference. Internet browsing is also available. The library is fully computerized and digitized with Machine Readable Catalogue facility for searching and Bar-coding for detection and transparency. Students and teachers visit the Library regularly and make use of the digital and print resources provided. The library is automated with the software KOHA version 21.11 for the overall management of library operations. Our Library is available 24×7 and Dspace is used for digital library which is also available always online. Books are classified according to Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme 22nd edition. We provide open access facility in the library actualizing the prime objective of providing the right information for the right user at the right time. The collection includes print documents as well as electronic documents.
